A Flying site where you can learn and grow.
| | Flying Dunlap is an adventure. Pilots from all over the world have flown here, testing their skills against nature. It is a great place to hone your abilities and train for competitions. Dunlap has been the site of two National Competitions and many Regional Competitions. It is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy the comraderie of your friends and family. There are three launches at Dunlap, two flat slope launches and a ramp. The ramp is generally used by the Hang Glider pilots, while the flat slope lauches are generally used by the Paraglider pilots. Although, they are open to all. You must be a USHPA member to fly Dunlap and need to check-in prior to flying. There is an annual flying fee of $20, renewable every January, this helps to offset the cost of running and maintaining the site. It pays for the lease on the launch site, outhouse maintenance, the cost of site insurance and a variety of other small expenses encountered through operating the site. Check the Membership section for your name. If it is not there, you absolutely must check in with Connie prior to flying. Please help keep Dunlap open by following these simple rules. |
